Teahouses (Mountain Lodges), Hotels in Kathmandu and BesisaharThe Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of Nepal’s most rewarding adventures, taking you around the base of Mount Manaslu (8,163m), the eighth-highest peak in the world. Over 17 days, the journey begins with a drive from Kathmandu and slowly follows the Budhi Gandaki River through quiet villages, rice fields, and forested hills before reaching the high mountain landscapes.
The path offers a wide range of experiences, including Buddhist temples, suspension bridges, waterfalls, and cozy towns that showcase both Tibetan and Gurung culture. Lush lowlands give way to alpine meadows and majestic peaks as the elevation increases. During the rest days in Samagaon and Samdo, visitors can wander, acclimatize to the altitude, and learn more about the local settlements.
Larke La Pass is the trek’s high point at an altitude of 5,106m, and the challenging ascent offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna, Himlung, Cheo Himal, and Manaslu ranges. The trail then gently descends through lovely meadows and forests before heading back to lower valleys and, ultimately, Kathmandu.
This trek is less crowded than other famous routes, making it an excellent choice for trekkers seeking adventure and a sense of peace in nature. Our team has carefully designed this 17-day itinerary to give you the perfect balance of challenge, safety, and cultural experience — so you can enjoy the mountains without worry and return home with unforgettable memories.
You will arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Once you arrive, our representative will be holding cards with your name to welcome you and drive you to the hotel.
Upon reaching the hotel, you will get refreshed and rest. Or you can explore Thamel, the liveliest area in Kathmandu. Also, ensure all the needed gear is ready.
